Lloyd’s Register Christmas open house-party down town Akti Miaouli was a great success this year! More than 400 guests attended! From the shipping companies we spotted some masters of the industry, Captain Panagiotis Tsakos, former Chairman of LR Hellenic Advisory Committee, Theodore Veniamis, the President of the Union of Greek shipowners and his brother Captain Michael Veniamis, Nicholas Madias and many others…
The party was also attended by the top echelon of the Hellenic Coast Guard as well as representative from the Ministry of Development, Competitiveness and Shipping including the Commandant of the Hellenic Coast Guard Admiral Constantine Sioulis, Rear Admiral Nicholas Daskalakis and other officers. There were also representatives from many of Greek shipping companies, as well as great number of technical consultants, Asian Shipyards representatives and bankers. With many dips and drinks and plenty of festive business discussion the party went on until the early evening, congrats!
