The vessels will be delivered from the First Quarter of 2014 onwards. These vessels will be dedicated to strengthen EXMAR’s already substantial commercial portfolio in the Midsize segment and designed to stay ahead of the upcoming amendments in environmental legislation.
- Hull lines optimization to reduce resistance in water with corresponding savings in CO2 emissions and consumption.
- Ballast water treatment system to minimize transfer of harmful aquatic organisms. – Funnel design facilitating the installation of a scrubber that reduces sulphur air emissions.
- Engine room and deck design ready for LNG or LPG as fuel with inherent reductions in CO2, SOx and NOx air emissions.
