ATHENS, GREECE, July 12, 2012 – Diana Containerships Inc. (NASDAQ: DCIX), a global shipping company specializing in owning and operating containerships, today announced that its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2012 are scheduled to be released before the opening of the U.S. financial markets on Wednesday, August 1, 2012.

The Company’s management will conduct a conference call and simultaneous Internet webcast to review these results at 9:00 A.M. (Eastern Time) on Wednesday, August 1, 2012.
