Great success at Capital Link’s Investor and Analyst Forum

On Tuesday June 5, 2012 at the Astir Palace Hotel in Vouliagmeni, Capital Link organised with great success, with the occasion of Posidonia the “3rd Investor & Analyst Forum.” The forum brought together listed and non listed shipping companies executives, investors, analysts, financiers, and other industry participants who are active in the shipping market and came to Athens from abroad for the biannual Posidonia event, the largest shipping trade event in the world.

The Forum’s objective was to update international investors , analysts and bankers, who visit Greece for the Posidonia event, on the latest developments in the various sectors of the shipping market and provide a platform to exchange views on the stock exchange and capital markets.

The senior management of 18 listed shipping companies on the U.S. and European stock exchanges participated in addition to executives from institutional investment houses, securities firms, and investment bank. The significant number of participating analysts, investors, financiers and financial media demonstrate the international investment community’s growing interest in shipping.

Nicolas Bornozis, President of Capital link made the opening remarks. Introductory remarks were made by Stefan Jekel, Managing Director, International Listings, Global Corporate Client Group at NYSE Euronext, and Isabella Schidrich, Senior Managing Director at NASDAQ OMX.
