The Athens Stock Exchange
SBC TV’s Vassilis Tsekouras questions John Faraclas on the current Shipping Financial Markets, the Stock Markets and Exchanges and what has to be done for Greece’s ailing economy and stalemate. A great deal of the interview centred on the future capabilities of the Athens Stock Exchange whose future, if properly tackled, is simply more than promising! New products, services and companies should enter: ocean going shipping, short-sea shipping – and inland waterways, logistics and tourism of any kind size and type!
These issues are a long standing saga and only a leader can cope with, cutting the Gordian Knot before it is too late. As one can extract it is not just Greece that might suffer further; the collateral damage from Greece’s situation can have worldwide multi repercussions. There is a wrong impression about the actual situation and who is to blame for. Katharses should take place here and now!

Πολύ καλά τα είπες στο SBC channel.
Η έλλειψη Ηγεσίας, ο λαικισμός εκ μέρους του πολιτικού συστήματος και οι συνδικαλιστές, όπως πολύ σωστά τόνισες, δυστυχώς έφεραν την Ελλάδα στην σημερινή κατάσταση.
Ακόμη όμως καιτώρα εάν οι κυβερνώντες κάνουν έστω μερικά από αυτά που ανέφερες για την ναυτιλία και ειδικά για τον τουρισμό, η κατάσταση μπορεί να αλλάξει θεαματικά. Πιστεύω ότι θα πρέπει να στείλεις το video στον φίλο σου το υφυπουργό ανάπτυξης, στον πατριώτη σου Υπουργό Εμπορικής Ναυτιλίας, και στην Υπουργό Τουρισμού.

Σωστές παρατηρήσεις σε όλα. Πώς όμως να εξασφαλιστεί η εργασιακή ειρήνη με τη λαίλαπα των αδιάκριτων περικοπών; Όχι βέβαια ότι πριν αξιοποιούνταν οι συνθήκες… Ως συνήθως σε αυτή τη χώρα οι προϋποθέσεις υπάρχουν, ο σχεδιασμός και η εκτέλεση είναι που λείπουν. Και ηγέτες με όραμα και θάρρος.
