Nadiro™ enters into a global sale and service agreement with VIKING Life-Saving Equipment for the Drop-In-Ball™ lifeboat hook systems

SVENDBORG, DENMARK – Sept. 5, 2012* – (Marine NewsWire) Nadiro A/S has signed a global sale and service agreement with VIKING Life-Saving Equipment A/S, the leading Danish life-saving equipment manufacturer, to establish a stronger global sales and service network for Nadiro’s revolutionary Drop-In-Ball™.The Nadiro™ Drop-In-Ball™ is complying with the revised LSA Code as amended by IMO resolution MSC. 320 (89) coming into force Jan. 1, 2013 for new buildings and first dry docking after July 1, 2014, and latest July 1, 2019 for existing tonnage.

The cooperation agreement signed on September 4 results in an important addition to the range of products and services supported by the VIKING Life-Saving Equipment network, and increases the servicing outlets and availability of Nadiro™ Drop-In-Ball™ and spare parts.
