SPINNAKER CONSULTING IS delighted to announce a partnership with UASC – ranked in the top 20 global container companies – on a major restructuring project. Currently operating 47 container vessels and roughly 400, 000 TEU on 14 services, UASC are aiming to meet challenging volume and revenue targets by 2016 through this organisational restructure. This is great news for the shipping industry, especially in light of the current market; it means more opportunities, and Spinnaker is excited to be contributing to this new organisational structure. Spinnaker is on board with UASC to seek candidates with the necessary skills to take on the challenge of reshaping the company. This is a fantastic opportunity for potential candidates to join a great business at an exciting time in their history.

Started in early 2012, this company-wide restructure has been a measured and well-thought-out process over the past year, with the intention of growing volume and revenue, implementing a competitive HR framework, and developing new customers. UASC’s headquarters are in Kuwait, but the corporate office, including their commercial and operational functions, is based in Dubai. Globally, the company’s business is managed through four regional offices in Singapore, London, Dubai and New Jersey. Spinnaker is looking for candidates with liner experience in Trade Management, Commercial, and Operational areas. The locations are as wide-reaching as Dubai, Singapore, Istanbul, US East Coast and Hamburg.
