13/06/2013 – Oslo Børs expands its derivatives offer and from Monday 17 June options, forwards and futures will be listed on Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (NAS) as the underlying share.
– Norwegian is a share with good liquidity and the possibility to trade derivatives on this share has been in demand from the market. We are pleased that we can expand the Oslo Børs derivatives universe further with options, forwards and futures on Norwegian, says Head of Derivatives, Jesper von Zweigbergk.
Earlier this month bull and bear ETNs on Norwegian were also listed on Oslo Børs. These ETNs are leveraged and seek to return +/- 200% of the daily return on the underlying share and is an offer to investors who want to take more risk.
DNB Markets and Danske Bank Markets will act as market makers in the NAS derivatives.
In addition to the above, Oslo Børs offers derivatives on 19 other individual shares, as well as on the OBX Total Return Index. In addition Oslo Børs offers trading in futures on the Oslo Børs OBX Oil Service Index (OBOSX).
