The late Captain Vassilis C. Constantakopoulos
Following the decision of the Association’s Board of Directors at its most recent convening, HELMEPA is pleased to announce that this year’s scholarship in memory of the late Captain Vassilis C. Constantakopoulos, valued at €15, 000, has been awarded to Mr. Eleftherios Saatsakis, a graduate of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens.
Mr. Saatsakis has been accepted into the University of Nottingham for graduate studies in the course MSc “Sustainable Energy and Entrepreneurship”, to begin in September, 2013.
As a kind reminder, tomorrow, Thursday 20th June, is the submissions deadline for the HELMEPA scholarship in memory of the late George P. Livanos, also valued at €15, 000. The scholarship is applicable to graduate maritime studies courses with duration of one year over the 2013-2014 academic year, in any country within the European Union.
