ISPS Security Level II
The State Commission for Public Security in Ports, Terminals and Waterways has declared Santos Port Security Protection Level as LEVEL II from today (8 July) to 13 July.
This comes after Brazil has seen protests against corruption, high Government tariffs and poor public services. Strike actions are being announced by various unions nationwide.
Due to the possibility of such protests being extended further, with a potential negative impact on port security, the ISPS level was rasied for the stated period.
