GAC USA Open House to celebrate new office and promise to customers

GAC-newHOUSTON – Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013 – GAC is hosting an Open House giving its customers and all oil & gas companies the opportunity to view its new
warehouse in the Central Green District of Houston, Texas.

The 180, 000+ sq. ft. LEED (Leader in Energy and Environment Design) certified cross dock facility includes four acres of outside storage space within a designated Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) and is in close proximity to George Bush Intercontinental Airport. The new building centralizes GAC USA’s local and regional executives, multiple business areas and staff under a single   roof at 16200 Central Green Blvd in Houston.

The grand opening comes hot on the heels of the GAC Group’s new brand campaign that promises to help its customers achieve their strategic goals. The new material will be unveiled at the Open House and attendees will be able to view GAC’s extensive portfolio that includes a new corporate video, brochures, and a range of advertisements showcasing the integrated services GAC provides to its customers.

“GAC has promised a long-term commitment to customers to deliver their needs globally, ” says Lars Heisselberg, GAC Group Vice President Americas. “The portfolio of services this office will provide combined with our strong ethics and commitment to compliance, exemplify our strategy and ability to service the energy sector in Houston, Texas.”

The doors will be opened to visitors for a grand Open House from 7:00 to
9:30 p.m. local time on Thursday, September 26. GAC Group President Bengt
Ekstrand will travel from the Dubai headquarters to cut the ribbon and
officially open the new office space. Texas State Representative Armando
Walle will be present as well as District Director, Ryan Hogue from
Senator Sylvia R. Garcia’s office.

Other confirmed well-known Houstonians attending include Seven-Time NBA
World Champion, former Houston Rockets, Robert Horry; Former Houston
Rockets and Hall of Fame inductee Elvin Hayes; Former Houston Rockets and
Hall of Fame inductee Calvin Murphy as well as the Houston Rockets Power
Dancers.
