24th INTERNATIONAL NAVAL DEFENCE & MARITIME EXHIBITION
27 – 31 October 2014 Paris | France
EURONAVAL 2014, the biennial International Naval Defence & Maritime Exhibition and Conference, will take place from 27 to 31 October 2014 at the Le Bourget Exhibition and Conference centre in Paris. Supported by the French Ministry of Defence and the French Navy, it is the major naval and maritime defence exhibition in Europe in the alternate years to the DSEI exhibition in the UK.
The five day event comprises an exhibition, conference, the visit of VIP & senior staff delegations and it will showcase a full range of naval and maritime defence and security technologies, products and services. The exhibition benefits from excellent facilities, security, parking, good catering, conference halls and many other modern features.
The Society of Maritime Industries, in partnership with UKTI Defence & Security Organisation, is organising and managing the UK Group of exhibitors in an area of the hall dedicated exclusively to UK companies.
The livery of the co-located UK Pavilion attracts visitors and international delegations and the presence of official UKTI DSO staff makes plain HMG support for the UK exhibitors.
The exhibition is open to exhibitors world-wide from companies or groups of companies which design, manufacture, maintain, repair or modernise naval equipment, including naval aviation equipment, refit ships, support fleets, train personnel, and promote, sell or provide naval and maritime security services, or produce documentation and journals connected with the naval and maritime security industry.
THE UK GROUP AT EURONAVAL 2014
UK Group exhibitors are co-located in a prime location in the exhibition hall. The UK Pavilion will provide budget booths from 12 sq.m. with basic furniture. Additional furniture can be specifically ordered.
SMI as the group organiser, deals direct with the French exhibition organisers, co-ordinates payments, reclaims VAT and refunds it to exhibitors, appoints agents and stand contractors, produces the UK Group catalogue, briefs the exhibitors, etc.
A programme, managed by the UK Group staff, ensures that all visiting delegations are routinely brought to all UK Group exhibitors.
The UK Pavilion includes an office and information centre together with a meeting room for the exclusive use of exhibitors in the UK Group.
A catalogue exclusive to exhibitors in the UK Group is made available for distribution to visitors and delegations alike to further promote the exhibitors and their products.
