Posidonia 2014 Cup
Yesterday, Friday 30 May 2014 the international shipping community gathered for the 7th Posidonia Cup Yacht Race, which took place in Faliron Bay under the most favourable weather conditions – southerly winds with force at a time between 5-7, celebrating the start of Posidonia 2014, the International Shipping Exhibition, in the most spectacular way, matching both seamanship and enterpreneurship!
This sailing regatta, one of the highlights of the Posidonia week since 2002, is the most anticipated event for the excitement it offers and the networking opportunities it creates. In 2012 participations summed up an impressive 55 sailing yachts that competed for the prestigious Posidonia Cup awards and this one yesterday looks likely that might have matched or be near to last year’s number of participating boats in all categories.
