Dredging operations at Benoi Basin | |

From 20 August to 20 November, dredging works will be carried out at Benoi Basin, within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates:1) 01 deg. 18.391’N / 103 deg. 40.859’E
2) 01 deg. 18.418’N / 103 deg. 40.880’E 3) 01 deg. 18.293’N / 103 deg. 40.894’E 4) 01 deg. 18.329’N / 103 deg. 40.867’E
Working Hours: 24 hours daily including Sundays and Public Holidays.
The dredging work will be carried out by dredgers held in position by anchors. The dredgers, with hopper barges in attendance, will have a circular safety working zone of 50 meters radius centred at the dredger. The dredged materials will be transported to the designated dumping ground by hopper barges assisted by tug boats.
A safety boat will be deployed in the vicinity of the working area to warn other craft of the project.
