| The Houston Ship Channel was closed to vessel transits for almost three hours yesterday (14 December) due to a shipboard fire at Targa Dock 1.At 0947 hours local time, the Houston/Galveston Vessel Traffic Service directed that no vessel transits were permitted on the Channel from Greenspoint Dock West to Light 164.
