The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore has announced today the cessation of compulsory maritime health declaration by vessels for EVD monitoring measures.The MPA’s Circular No. 14 of 2015 dated today advises that the World Health Organisation has officially declared Guinea free of the Ebola virus, and with regard to the National Environment Agency (Port Health Office)’s updated requirement, all vessels that had been to the previously EVD affected countries in the past 21 days, are no longer required to submit the Maritime Declaration of Health Form to the Port Health Office.For information about operations in Singapore, contact GAC Singapore at gac.com/singapore. |
