More and more municipalities are choosing to list their bonds on the Oslo Børs marketplaces. In 2015, six of the new issuers were municipalities. So far this year three municipalities have already listed its first bond issues on Oslo Børs.
Stock exchange listing gives municipalities access to a broader base of investors. Many investors want the bonds they own to be stock exchange listed, and new issue managers are happy to recommend that municipalities list their bonds.
The bond loan that is admitted to listing today – Sandnes komm 16/21 1, 89% – is an issue of NOK 364 million with an interest rate of 1.89%. DNB Bank, DNB Markets and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken are the managers for the issue.
