|MARINE SITE INVESTIGATION OFF AIRPORT
|NEW MARINA PLANNED FOR LUXURY YACHTS

|For approximately 2 weeks, marine site investigation works involving drilling of boreholes will be carried out [off Hong Kong International Airport]in the area bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (D):
(A) 22 deg. 19.697’N / 113 deg. 53.273’E
(B) 22 deg. 19.576’N / 113 deg. 53.295’E
(C) 22 deg. 19.561’N / 113 deg. 53.218’E
(D) 22 deg. 19.680’N / 113 deg. 53.194’EThe works will be carried out by one flat top barge. One tug will provide assistance.A working area of approximately 100 meters around the barge will be established. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the barge.
The hours of work will be from 0700 to 1900 hours. No works will be carried out on Sundays and public holidays. Vessels employed for the works will stay in the works area outside the hours of work.
Vessels engaged in the operations will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.
Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution.

|New marina planned for luxury yachts|

|DP World has announced plans to build a new marina for luxury yachts at Port Rashid in Dubai.The first phase of the project is planned to open by 2018, with capacity for more than 400 boats with lengths of 15 to 35 metres. The second phase will be for luxury yachts with a length of more than 100 metres.Tenders for construction will be invited soon.
