Win a limited edition FB Chain professional chain wear gauge

by admin

unnamed (38)Trusted supplier to the materials handling industry FB Chain is celebrating its 30th anniversary by giving away a limited edition professional chain wear gauge every month in its anniversary year.

FB Chain’s patented professional chain wear gauge has long been the go-to tool for service technicians and insurers in the thorough examination of lifting equipment all around the world. Unlike many ‘worn or not worn’ gauges, the device gives a precise indication of percentage elongation on all leaf and roller chains up to 3” pitch in increments of ¼ (0.25) % with a red warning box appearing at 2% wear. This degree of accuracy enables service and replacement intervals to be optimised, while eliminating the likelihood of chain failure during operation.

To celebrate three decades of business this year, FB Chain has designed a limited edition of this highly-valued tool in black with a red 30th anniversary leaf emblem. The limited edition chain wear gauges are available to purchase throughout 2016. The leading manufacturer and supplier of leaf chain and associated parts is also giving away a select number via its dedicated chain wear gauge website www.chainweargauge.com/celebrate30.

The giveaway is open to entrants from all around the world. All they need do is enter their contact details in the web form. Winners are selected at random on the last day of each calendar month and will be notified at the beginning of the following month. The competition runs until the end of 2016.

“The FB professional chain wear gauge is not normally a giveaway item, ” says Peter Church, managing director of FB Chain. “It is a carefully-designed and well-manufactured instrument that, for a reasonable price, is a valuable addition to the toolbox of any technician who understands the importance of recognising precisely the amount of wear in a safety-critical lifting chain. This competition is an excellent opportunity for those unfamiliar with the FB brand to experience exactly what they’ve been missing.”
