Capers dive below the 2,000 threshold; geopolitical tsunamis are on the way…

The BDI (Baltic Dry Index) lost another 11 points and now at 864 proves that there is no sustainability and appropriate conditions to move over and above the 2,000 points… The explosive geopolitics might floor down all the efforts humanity did in seven decades and in particular following the collapse of the Iron Curtain. John Faraclas’ daily market and geopolitics briefing:

The Capers lost 37 points and the respective BCI 2014 lost its safe barrier of 2,000, now reading 1,971…

The Panamaxes too were on a downward mood; down 13 points and now the BPI reads 713 points…CAUTION for both mega sizes…

Only the Supras’ BSI gained just two points and now stands at 681…

The Handies lost too, this time two points and the BHSI reads 419 points.

Risk assessors spectacularly failed to predict the Dry Market’s lengthy bottom and now wonder what is their remedy…

The  WETS too on a downfall; the last published BDTI (Dirties) and BCTI (Cleans)  stood at 625 (minus 13) and 352 points  (minus six) respectively… Equally the gurus and analysts failed in predicting the WETS course…

The WTI as of 13:40 BST stands at US$ 48.73 – upwards, but we shall see later on in the last update before midnight…

The Boxships in tatters; wonder what’s up… We are expecting a couple of big bangs…

The Geopolitics continues with the number one issue that of the MIGRANTS in all fronts.

The East Med, the Balkans and in general the region from Caucuses to the Middle east, even down to the African Horn (add the Gibraltar to Afghanistan region), might become the worst battlefield with Turkey’s provocative actions in all fronts. The UN Secretary-General must intervene before Syria will look like a kindergarten when the region goes up to flames. There isn’t of course any European solidarity, not a NATOIC one. As said in previous reports: don’t blame the Greek public for its reaction to any Turkish aggression in the region…

Hungary’s referendum turned out sour; another trouble in the heart of continental Europe…

European Banks in a mess… that’s a coming avalanche; just wait and see…

Will it be the Ides of March in 2017 when the BREXIT will be in full swing? I maintain that the view of the people in the United Kingdom was the right one, given what takes place behind closed doors in Brussels and Berlin! Mrs. May will call the shots! Excellent! It was about time!

Wonder what will happen to Greece’s PM Tsipras if the situation turns sour in Greece… He has too many fronts and one needs to be a powerful political beast to counter; is he?  Can he deliver excellence for the Greek people? Does the opposition holds the ke?  No, categorically: NO! Greece needs an ARISTOS government/team for ten years.- We will love to ridicule live todays Greek leaders on a live TV debate on all fronts, then on a second one the trimmers from Brussels and Berlin. Indeed we verbally provoke you for a live debate!

Putin gets aggressive…

All in all the Mighty Continent looks like falling apart… Pity!

In the other side of the Atlantic the race to the White House continues; Mrs. Clinton is ahead… we shall see as Donald trump is a tough cookie and she needs all women’s wrath to floor him down…

China needs to put her house in financial order; expansionism is one thing, but ethical, price-wise trading yet another…

Some Good news from the Subcontinent: India ratified the Paris Climate deal.

That’s all for now
