An Autonomous Surface Vehicle (ASV) will be tested off the Republic of Singapore Yacht Club (RSYC) on Friday (14 October) and from 17 to 21 October. from According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore’s Port Marine Notice No.112 of 2016, the testing of the ASV will be carried out daily between the hours of 0900 and 1800 local time within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum): 1) 01 deg. 17.650’N / 103 deg. 45.587’E 2) 01 deg. 17.681’N / 103 deg. 45.539’E 3) 01 deg. 17.743’N / 103 deg. 45.579’E 4) 01 deg. 17.714’N / 103 deg. 45.625’EThe ASV will be launched and recovered from RSYC slipway. A safety boat will be in attendance at all times to warn and re-direct craft in the vicinity to keep clear of the working area. Craft involved in the testing will exhibit the appropriate local and international day signals.
