Cadets ready to board “Volcán del Teide”
Capt. Antonio M. Padrón y Santiago, “IMO Maritime Ambassador” and Maritime Authority of Tenerife, attended the embarkation of other 26 Maritime Cadets in the ship “Volcán del Teide” of NAVIERA ARMAS
A total of 26 Maritime Cadets embarked in the vessel Volcán del Teide of NAVIERA ARMAS, in her passage from Tenerife to Huelva, in order to perform their first training in navigation.
This is the second passage with Cadets, in collaboration with NAVIERA ARMAS and the University of La Laguna (ULL), being embarked a total of 56 students.
This group of Cadets will enjoy an enriching academic and professional experience that will combine classes on board with real life on a ship sailing from the Canary Islands to the Peninsula in just one day, at a speed of 26 knots.
NAVIERA ARMAS, the only shipping company that connects all the Islands of the Archipelago, has offered its collaboration to carry out on board the Nautical students, sponsoring this activity.
