|From 6 February 2017, the light buoy “Weather 1” will be relocated about 100 metres south westward to facilitate the construction of the Three-Runway System of the Hong Kong International Airport.

|Super Bowl Sunday – hotel availability|

|Vessel owners and operators planning crew changes at Houston and surrounding ports are warned that hotel availability in the area is extremely limited, due to Super Bowl Sunday on 5 February.
Crew changes should be planned and scheduled with the assumption no hotel rooms will be available for the Houston area and surrounding ports.

|Lock closure for maintenance works|

|The Kiel Canal Authority has announced that one new big lock chamber at Kiel locks will be closed for maintenance works between 0800 and 1500 hours local time on Wednesday, 1 February.
During that period, only one big lock chamber is in operation at Kiel locks.
