The BDI@778: not sustainable; Geopolitics’ Tempest ante portas

The BDI (Baltic Dry Index) closed at 778 points earlier on today, that’s 21 points plus since yesterday – coinciding with the date of the month… Geopolitics, as we have long foreseen and advised you,  will take more twists and turns. John Faraclas daily recap:

The Capers continued their upwards trend with the BCI 2014 standing at 856 points – that’s 65 plus since yesterday…

The Panamaxes lost just three points and the BPI now reads 906 points – a bit of a caution here as the 900 points threshold is not a nice thing to see being lost… Still we maintain that Panamaxes are the best of all sizes and last time round (yesterday) we had a special mentioning on this…

The Supras did “well” with the BSI gaining 17 points and now stands at 764 points.

Finally the Handies’ BHSI surpassed the 400 points,  now reading 402 –  that’s six plus since yesterday; not bad…

The Wets, appeared with mixed results; the last published BDTI (Dirties) and the BCTI (Cleans) stood at 859 – minus four and 613 – plus one respectively…

The WTI surpassed the US$ 54 and now reads US$ 54,23 – dangerous situ here as with higher levels, the poor get poorer…

The Dow Jones on another yet record at 20.743 points; S&P up at 2,365 and Nasdaq also up  at 5,865. Same levels more or less as per yesterday’s closing for the FTSE  – 7,274, but in general there is fear of a bubble for all markets… DAX was up a bit but don’t count your eggs before they are hatched…

The Geopolitics per para one above are worsening with many twists and turns. No one really knows where we are heading!!

The architects of a very messy Planet Ocean wish to see blood in the streets so their plans succeed. Times though have changed and things might not be contained. You can see and I am sure you’ve witnessed all these happening following the “collapse” of the Eastern Block and the beginning of a new but equally dangerous era for humanity… Caution as Nemesis will strike against all those who mastermind the destruction of our society.

The MIGRANTS, unfortunately remain the number one issue – dozens drown off the Libyan coast…and, the USA tough measures are in force to deport those without documents; in an nutshell there will be a lot to see there as there are now 11 (eleven) million illegal immigrants in the USA…

Another major issue is human trafficking taking incalculable dimensions and leading women into prostitution – wonder how they manage to bring all these victim-women to civilised countries with tough entry rules and social laws as well as control. The story of two Albanian women and others aired today is despicable…

The Syrian and Iraqi sagas with ISIS still around and all that messy situation in the Middle East and its periphery might explode and engulf many more countries in the region…

Turkey in dire straits in view of the forthcoming referendum, the involvement in the Syrian and Iraqi operations, needless to mention the Turkish provocations to its neighbours…

Greece is also once again in dire straits and we have lengthy explained what might happen…

Europe needs a new direction…

BREXIT proved the hidden factor for Europe’s destruction if Berlin continues in this manner to run Europe… See the strangulation of Greece and its people…

President Putin has his own agenda as we have numerous times explained…

The USA is flexing its muscles in all fronts … President Trump condemns anti-Semitism, following threats against many Jewish centres all over USA… Many spills in oil and gas in fracking sites cause problems for all…

In the Fareast things remain pretty much the same as in last week and the scare in Xinjiang just surfacing with the police being after cars to crack down terrorists, might take dimensions…

Have a nice evening and be on guard from terrorists of any kind who are ready to disturb our lives…
