We have less than two weeks left until the doors open on the CV Show 2019, when the annual three-day celebration of all that makes the commercial vehicle industry great in the UK begins, and the eyes of the industry and media will be on the NEC, for the raft of unveilings and global debuts that are set to take place.
In this week’s edition of the Exhibitor’s newsletter, we cover more upcoming highlights of the show, and products from our exhibitors. These range from the latest software solutions, accident repair specialists, and refrigeration experts through to insurance packages designed for commercial operators, all aimed specifically at the cv sector. For anyone who is involved in the commercial vehicle industry, there will be a range of products and industry suppliers that will support you and your business needs, laid across the three halls of the NEC.

Thermo King and Frigoblock are coming to the CV Show with unveilings of LEZ and EU-regulation compliant solutions.
Thermo King and Frigoblock will be showcasing their latest line-up of refrigeration solutions that meet the environmental sustainability objectives of customers who are seeking to control exhaust emissions and limit noise output in urban areas.
Premiering in the UK at the 2019 CV Show will be the new intelligent all-electric units for vans and trucks of under 3.5 tonnes. This latest unit, the E-200, is a plug-and-play installation unit which runs independently from the vehicle. If the optional TK battery is used, the unit manages its own capacity during stops for deliveries or breaks, via its use of the two power supplies at the same time. Visitors to the show will be able to view the E-200, installed in the latest generation of delivery truck as used by Tesco, which will be displayed at the event.
Due for its global unveiling at the CV Show, in collaboration with Castell Howell Foods, is the UT-Series Hybrid prototype which has been developed for under-mount use on trucks. This ingenious hybrid solution combines the Thermo King diesel refrigeration unit with a Frigoblock alternator and the latest inverter-drive technology to provide constant electric power and operation in electric mode.
AAMP Global are bringing their brand portfolio to the CV show to help drivers stay connected and fleets stay FORS compliant.
AAMP, a global manufacturer and distributor of automotive technology for the OEM and aftermarket, will be launching its new state-of-the-art telematics platform, EchoMaster Connected, and showcasing a variety of safety solutions and vehicle head units under the same brand at the CV show.
FORS Silver level compliance is easily achievable for fleets through the implementation of the newly upgraded EchoMaster range. Through the evolution of crucial elements of safety technology offered within the packages, fleet operators can achieve measurable increases in their safety provisions and with it, achieve a higher level of accreditation. The range now includes multi-camera systems, blind spot detection aids, side scan sensors and audible turn signals as well as in cab displays and driver warning systems. Also on display will be the latest range of heavy duty radio head units from Echomaster, which all offer increased functionality and connectivity for drivers. Unlike most aftermarket systems, the Heavy Duty range are designed for use in harsh environments and across rough terrain. The new Heavy Duty units sit alongside the rest of the highly connected range of Echomaster products for in-cab entertainment, which include the latest advances in Bluetooth handsfree calling, music streaming and DAB radio.

Tracm8 telematics cameras helps fleet cut accident rates by a third
The fleet-wide introduction of Tracm8 telematics cameras has helped a national utilities contractor cut its vehicle accidents rate by more than a third.
The fitment of the award winning Trakm8 RH600 4G telematics camera to a fleet of over 500 light and heavy goods has resulted in a 39% drop in accidents across the fleet. At the same time, the company has seen a drop-in speeding instances by 35%, with a resulting decrease in in fuel consumption coming as an added benefit.
