A 5.1R earthquake shakes the plain of Athens

An strong earthquake shook the plain of Athens having its epicentre 22km (14m) north west of Athens at 12:20 BST (14:20 local time), possible in the same place with the very strong earthquake in 1999 at 6.1 of the Richter scale were 143 people lost their lives, many buildings collapsed as well as thousands damaged.
