Repair and rehabilitation of LPG berth

The Visakhapatnam Port Trust has advised that repair and rehabilitation of LPG berth, including its moorings and breasting dolphins, will be carried out on 1 January 2020 for three days. Vessel operations will resume thereafter for the next four days.

The partial shut-down of the LPG jetty will be reviewed subsequently based on the progress of the rehabilitation works.

All vessel agents and OMCs at Visakhapatnam are advised to plan their vessel’s schedule accordingly.

No disruption to port operations

Berthing/unberthing operations and cargo operations at the oil jetty are unaffected by the fire at Tank No. 301 at IMC Terminal, which happened today (30 December) around 1345 hrs local time. No casualties have been reported.
