Club Member Alert (March 13, 2020) Re – COVID-19 – New Working arrangements for Managers’  global offices
MARCH 13, 2020
COVID-19 – NEW WORKING ARRANGEMENTS FOR MANAGERS’ GLOBAL OFFICES
Reference is made to the several Alerts issued over recent days in regard to revised working arrangements in your Managers’ offices throughout the world.

In light of developments which have very recently taken place in the various locations in which those offices are situated, and given the exigencies of the growing pandemic in general, it has been decided, with immediate effect, to permit staff in each of your Managers’ offices to work from home until the end of March.

As was notified in the Member Alert of yesterday which concerned SCB’s New York office in particular, this does not mean that those offices will be entirely unmanned over that period.  Personnel who wish to attend the Managers’ premises in any location, even if on an intermittent basis, will be able to do so, subject, of course, to the public health requirements of local authorities, public transport arrangements, and so on.

As was mentioned in yesterday’s Alert, the paramount motivation being the health and safety of your Managers’ staff throughout the world, Members should assume that most management personnel will be working from home until the end of the month, at which time a further review will take place, and further policy in this regard considered.

Contact details of the Managers’ New York, London, Athens, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Houston can be accessed on the Club’s website, respectively, at:

Despite these highly unusual circumstances, your Managers remain committed to maintaining full Club service over the weeks ahead in the hope that conditions will improve over time.  Members are asked to note the above, while your Managers undertake to provide further reports as circumstances require over the forthcoming period
