Register: How global public investors have adjusted investment strategies
Global Public Investor 2020 Asia launch
Virtual launch
Wednesday 29 July, 15:00-17:00 Singapore | 08:00 London
OMFIF launches Global Public Investor 2020 next week. GPI is devoted to public sector asset ownership and management around the world. Global public investors encompass central banks, sovereign funds and public pension funds, linked by their status as public sector-funded entities and representing a core component of world capital markets, with total holdings estimated at $37.8tn.
Global Public Investor 2019 reported that four of the top five public investors in the world were Asian, with organisations from the Asia-Pacific region containing 37.9% of all assets under management. This year’s edition presents the results of an in-depth survey on asset allocation strategies carried out at the height of the pandemic.
Find out how GPIs adjusted their investment strategies in an increasingly uncertain year by registering for the launch of the 2020 report. All attendees will be the first to receive a copy of the publication by email just prior to the launch.
Speakers discuss how institutions have managed the economic and financial fall-out from the pandemic, including the role of long-term capital in a post-Covid world, and how global public investors can harness innovation.
