 Having joined the Royal Navy at 16, Huw Davies became Director of Operations at the Fleet Numerical Meteorological and Oceanographic Centre and Chairman of the Military Oceanography Council of NATO. Prior to his current role outside the Navy, he worked at Rolls-Royce and set up a weather and routeing business. He is the UK member of the World Meteorological Organisation and Steering Committee on Marine Meteorology and Oceanographic Services. |
