For approximately 6 months, marine works involving reinstatement of armour rock profile and modification of new wave wall will be carried out within the area bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (D) and the adjacent shorelines:
(A) 22° 20.391’N / 114° 15.988’E
(B) 22° 20.314’N / 114° 16.280’E
(C) 22° 20.172’N / 114° 16.237’E
(D) 22° 20.193’N / 114° 16.156’E

The works will be carried out by one dumb lighter, one flat top barge and one work boat. One tugboat will provide assistance. 3. A working area of approximately 15 metres around each lighter and barge will be established. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the lighter and barge.

A silt curtain, extending from the sea surface to the seabed, will be established within the works area. The silt curtain is a large piece of netting used to contain mud and sediments. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the extent of the silt curtain.

The hours of work will be from 0800 to 1800 hours. No works will be carried out on Sundays and public holidays. Vessels employed for the works will stay in the works area outside the hours of work.

Vessels engaged in the operations will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.

Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution.

Activation of crew change hub

The Port of Batangas is hereby activated as a crew change hub. Operations shall start effective Wednesday, 16 December 2020.

Curfew introduced
Wednesday, December 16, 2020, France

A 2000-06:00 curfew has been introduced in France, including the country’s ports, effective from yesterday (15 December).

The coronavirus local questionnaire and Master’s Declaration of Health must be completed before vessels’ arrival at ports. In case of suspected COVID-19 cases, no-one except the pilot (if they accept) should board or leave the ship during her call.
