ESPO welcomes the European Parliament’s recognition of the strategic role and cross-border dimension of Europe’s portsThe European Sea Ports Organisation (ESPO) welcomes the adoption of the own-initiative (INI) report of TRAN-Committee Chair, Karima Delli, on technical and operational measures for more efficient and cleaner maritime transport by the European Parliament. The final text adopted in the European Parliament plenary contains many of the key strong points which are supported by ESPO.

Register now for the ESPO Conference Regatta 2021!
You can now register for the ESPO Conference Regatta 2021, taking place from 25 to 28 May. Given the restrictions resulting from the pandemic, the Conference Regatta 2021 is planned as an online event. If the situation improves enough to allow it, the three hosting ports will do their utmost to set up a limited in-person attendance and/or in-person networking event. We have exceptionally interesting rates and encourage you to benefit from the “family” rate (special discount for five or more people from the same company or organisation).

ESPO welcomes the Port of Durrës, Albania’s main port, as observer member
Durrës Port Authority has joined ESPO as an observer member. Port of Durrës is Albania’s port of call, accounting for nearly 90% of Albania’s total international maritime freight traffic and more than 40% of Albania’s total international freight traffic.
