Award for IMCA’s Andy Goldsmith

A surprised Andy Goldsmith

A delighted, and surprised, Captain Andy Goldsmith, Marine Technical Adviser at the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) was presented with the Honourable Mention Award 2021 last week at the  Annual Offshore Support Journal Conference, Exhibition & Awards by Edwin Lampert, Executive Editor & Head of Business Relations, Riviera Maritime Media.

The citation read:

·   ‘Thank you for your onshore and offshore support. On behalf of a grateful industry and with very best wishes on your retirement, we’re delighted to make this presentation’

Andy Goldsmith will not retire until the spring of 2022, but this is the last Riviera/OSJ conference at which he is scheduled to speak. His award was posted on LinkedIn and received plaudits from many colleagues across the industry, including:

·   ‘Well done Andy, great recognition for your long and dedicated service’

·   ‘Thoroughly deserved Andy – well done and great to see recognition where it’s due’

Andy Goldsmith joined IMCA in January 2015, and IMCA says it will be officially marking his retirement in March 2022.
