The Hellenic Bankers Association UK (HBA-UK) announces the establishment of and transition to a non-profit company limited by guarantee as a successor to the current Hellenic Bankers Association-UK. Following the election at the Ordinary General Meeting (OGM), it also announces the composition of the new Executive Committee. Below the new Executive Committee members, effective 28 April with a mandate for 2 years remaining:
- George Katsikas, Chairman
- Xenofon Zacharoudis, Vice-Chairman
- Argyris Chatzilias
- Iossif Kiouroukoglou
- Konstantinos Kostopoulos
- Theo Nikolaidis
- Martha Pachatouridi
Besides the Alternate Members of the Executive Committee were elected as follows:
- Michael Dimopoulos
- Christina Noussia
The new Executive Committee would like to thank Louis Loizou, former Chairman of the HBA-UK, and the members of the previous Executive Committee for their precious contribution in the remarkable achievements of the HBA-UK during the past two years.
The Chairman’s Circle, which consists of all past Chairmen of the Association, will act on an advisory capacity to the Executive Committee. The Chairman’s Circle includes Christos Megalou, Notis Mitarakis, Efstratios Chatzigiannis, Michail Zekkos, Andreas Zobanakis, Antonis Ntatzopoulos, Louis Loizou, Yiannis Kyriakopoulos and George Matsakas.
HBA-UK retains its solid commitment to the Association’s growth and strengthening Greek diaspora abroad. The strategic pillars which the Association’s initiatives will evolve around will be published on the Association’s website in the coming weeks.

Message from the Outgoing Chairman Louis Loizou
After four years, it is time to hand over the baton.
Continuing the heritage since 1994, the Hellenic Bankers Association-UK (HBA-UK) connects both Greece and Cyprus to the City of London, while contributes to the increase of ‘brain gain’. Since 2018, we brought together more than 3,500 professionals by implementing 30+ initiatives; a notable one is the launch of the Hellenic Tech Network.
I would like to express my gratitude to the team of volunteers that has worked with me all these years. My warm congratulations on the election of the Chairman George Katsikas and the new Executive Committee Members.
