This course is designed for shore and ship staff who want to go deeper into the topic of risk management and get familiar with a wide range of methods and tools that may be used.
Previous experience of risk management, incident investigation or participation in Maritime Academy’s foundation course “Maritime Risk Management and Incident Investigation” is highly recommended.
Participants will learn how to apply risk assessment methods at the different operational levels. Management of change process best practices are described as per industry standards. The steps of the process including application of risk assessment methods are practiced using realistic scenarios.
This course is conducted in a highly interactive workshop style, switching regularly between input sessions with presentations and group work, where participants will be actively involved in a variety of practical tasks.
