S.E. M. Philippe Orengo, Monaco’s Ambassador to the Holy See and the Sovereign Order of Malta, has been made a Knight Grand Cross of the Pian Order by decree of Pope Francis. The prestigious honour, the highest awarded by the Vatican to accredited ambassadors, was presented during a ceremony at the Apostolic Palace.
