Mattias Ottosson Blue MBA Graduate & Ambassador recently was a speaker at the IASST conference (hosted by Novikontas) in Riga, Latvia where he presented his leadership insights on Psychological Safety The Enabler of Learning from Normal Work (LFNW):
“As leaders, it’s imperative that our approach to safety is proactive, not reactive. Instead of learning from incidents, we should also learn from our successes. These learnings come from a human interaction. By prioritising the safety of our workforce, we can enhance productivity and, more importantly, foster psychological safety and well-being. I strive to be a hyper-aware leader because I recognise that safety leadership must start at the top. I take it upon myself to encourage and mentor the professionals I work with to uphold these values.”
