Another triple-digit points were lost for the Capes’ BCI now standing at 2,264 – minus 129! Volatility – on all counts, at its best…
Minimal losses for the Panamaxes’ BPI now at 1,492 – minus two points; Christopher Columbus would have liked this number…
Plus two points for the Supras’ BSI now at 979…
The Handies’ lost four point and the BHSI now reads 607…
The Wets once again with mixed feelings; the last published BDTI (Dirties) and BCTI (Cleans) stood at 1,240 points – plus ten and 860 – minus 35 respectively…
The WTI managed to turn the tide and was up today and let’s see the outcome on this rise – a fifteen months low… recorded yesterday at US$ 46.60 and today’s closing at US$ 48.17 sends the message of what is yet to come; even an upwards rally could be expected but…
The Geopolitics still messy….

On another tone and note earlier on tonight the Chios Marine Club had its Christmas drinks and dips at the SiL – Shakespeare in Love down town Piraeus off Akti Miaouli. Over 100 members turned out in a rather cold evening – sudden temperature drop, but the atmosphere inside was more than …warm and jovial.
Chios is the most powerful place all over Planet Ocean with a very successful number of shipowners and great seafaring tradition. Well done!
