Possible strike at coal terminals
Workers at Port Waratah Coal Services’ (PWCS) three coal terminals at Newcastle may take industrial action in the coming weeks over a new workplace agreement.
Members of five unions last week endorsed possible strike action in secret ballots. More negotiations are planned this week and they have three working days notice for any strike to be legal.
