In less than a month, following the successful Beaujolais event in London’s Trinity House, another full house, this time in Piraeus – home of the world’s biggest shipping fleet, was recorded at Bureau Veritas’ premises!
In festive mood the 500 plus strong faithful enjoyed earlier this afternoon in a Christmas decorated atmosphere at the society’s main hall the food …great food as usual with new recipes too, a unique variety offered by our hosts as this is an event of diverse gathering reflecting no doubt to our hosts diverse circle of businesses: maritime, offshore, industrial to name but a few. Did I hear you say sweets, tarts, or the traditional Greek Christmas specialities? Melomakarona, Courambiedes etcetera… Oh well, not only plentiful but tasting…finger-leaking good! And what about the drinks: Champaign and wines the name of the…game; Santé! A la votre!

Didier Bouttier, Bureau Veritas’ head of the Marine & Offshore Activities for the New Zone of Hellenic, Black Sea and Middle East, Lambros Chahalis the regional chief executive of Bureau Veritas for the Hellenic and Black Sea regions, Tassos Angelopoulos, the deputy country chief executive for Greece and Cyprus, Pailette Paliologou, the sales, marketing and business developments manager, Dr. John Kokarakis, vice president, technology & business development manager, George Andreadis, the marine centre manager of BV in Piraeus, their colleagues and respective teams created the atmosphere for a memorable event. Worth mentioning the female factor, where Bureau Veritas has a say in the field with Pailette Paleologou leading the team and the administrative sector headed by Vasso Giannioti, with Vicky Priovolou, Maggie Aredjian, Maria Papanayotou, Dora Kafetzi and all the other Bureau Veritas ladies!
