Borouge, a leading provider of innovative, value creating plastics solutions, signed a contract with RINA Services, one of the oldest and most reputed international certification bodies, to audit and certify the Company’s quality, environment and energy management systems to ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standards.
The three-year contract was signed by Abdulaziz Alhajri, CEO of Abu Dhabi Polymers Company (Borouge), and Stefano Bertilone, General Manager RINA Services Greece, Middle East and Africa, during a ceremony held at Borouge’s headquarters at the Shaikh Khalifa Energy Complex in Abu Dhabi.
The certification will cover the head offices of Borouge in Abu Dhabi and Singapore, the Company’s petrochemicals manufacturing facility in Ruwais which includes the world’s largest ethane cracker, Compounding Manufacturing Plant in Shanghai and a network of offices across the Asia Pacific region.
