Datema_logo 2014Datema has announced that through collaboration with the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO) the ADMIRALTY Vector Chart Service (AVCS) is now integrated into their Chartplanner and Pay As You Sail (PAYS) services.

Datema’s PAYS service, ENCTrack, now includes AVCS – the world’s most chosen ENC service for ECDIS – and the ADMIRALTY Information Overlay (AIO) for additional passage planning information, such as T&P ECDIS integration. With over 13, 000 Electronic Navigational Charts (ENCs) and covering over 4, 000 ports, AVCS allows mariners to navigate an unparalleled number of international shipping routes and ENCTrack with AVCS ensures you now only pay for what you use.

Datema’s revolutionary, dynamic licensing system ensures that vessels have 24/7 access to all charts and permits, allowing the captain complete flexibility in voyage planning. The system is safe, sound and simple. ENCTrack will track the vessel in real time, immediately registering which ENCs are being travelled and accessed. The system will automatically optimise the validity of the individual cell licenses.

ENCTrack with AVCS is available through Chartplanner, the first multivendor digital chart catalogue able to show geographical coverage for AVCS, ADMIRALTY Raster Chart Service (ARCS), ADMIRALTY publications and ENCs from multiple sources. It is the most intuitive digital chart catalogue in the market today with 24/7 automatic and immediate worldwide access. What really sets Chartplanner apart from other digital chart management systems in the market is that Chartplanner and back office activities are fully integrated via a B2B link to Primar, IC-ENC and now also the UKHO. This allows for a fully automised planning and ordering process supported by highly qualified customer support staff aiming for the highest possible standards of safe and efficient navigation.

Datema will be present at the SMM Exhibition in Hamburg to showcase Chartplanner as the gateway to ENCTrack with AVCS. Test your skills with the Chartplanner challenge at our booth (B6.136) and be in with a chance of winning a hot air balloon ride for two persons.
