In a joint comment: “We are honoured to be asked to lead Stone Chambers into what promises to be a new and exciting era. We are looking forward to building on the successful development of Stone Chambers in recent times and to our continued expansion both here and in Asia.”

About

Stone Chambers has enjoyed a very successful sustained period of development over recent years, reflected in growth in annual turnover, which has averaged a 20 % increase per year over the past 5 years and will exceed that in 2014.

2014 has seen International Arbitration specialist Steven Walker, Joseph England, Jason Robinson and James Smithdale join Stone Chambers. Mary Thomson added to our growing Stone Chambers presence in Asia and is based in Hong Kong.

2013 saw Andrew Moran QC and Charles Debattista become full members. Rani Noakes and Thomas Steward joined chambers as did Jonathan Lux who joined from Ince & Co to focus on his practice as a mediator.

Stone Chambers Singapore opened in 2013, headed up by Andrew Moran QC, making Stone Chambers the first chambers to have a QC resident in Singapore.
