Cessation of Telex Service in Hong Kong

According to the Marine Department Notice No.150 of 2014, the telex numbers of the Marine Department will be ceased with effect from 31 December 2014. The details are as follows:

Vessel Traffic Centre
Number & Answer Back: 63607 MDVTS HX
Maritime Rescue Co-ordination Centre
Number & Answer Back: 82952 MRCC HX
Owners, agents, operators, masters and persons-in-charge of vessels are reminded that messages sent to the above telex numbers will not be received by the corresponding office for processing on and after the cessation date.
