The Yiu Lian Floating Dock No.3 [has been] temporarily displaced from the charted position for about 11 weeks.When decommissioning and re-commissioning of the floating dock, diving operations and marine works involving disconnection and reconnection of anchor chains will be carried out within the works area bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum): -(A) 22 deg. 20.128’N / 114 deg. 05.283’E
(B) 22 deg. 20.092’N / 114 deg. 05.349’E (C) 22 deg. 19.943’N / 114 deg. 05.267’E (D) 22 deg. 19.981’N / 114 deg. 05.203’E
Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the co-ordinates from (A) to (D) above and the ends of the disconnected anchor chains of the floating dock within the works area.
The works will be carried out by two crane barges with the assistance of one tug between 0800 hours and 1800 hours daily including Sundays and Public Holidays.
The working craft will stay in the works area outside the hours of works.
Craft engaged in the works will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.
Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with extreme caution.

For approximately 6 months, marine works involving seawall demolition, dredging, backfilling, precast box culvert installation and seawall reinstatement will be carried out [at the Black Point Power Station] in the area bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (D) and the adjacent shoreline:(A) 22 deg. 24.686’N / 113 deg. 54.370’E(B) 22 deg. 24.715’N / 113 deg. 54.271’E(C) 22 deg. 24.797’N / 113 deg. 54.355’E
(D) 22 deg. 24.705’N / 113 deg. 54.391’E
The works will be carried out by a flotilla of vessels including one derrick barge, one split hopper barge, one crane barge and one grab dredger. Two tugs and one work boat will provide assistance. The number of vessels engaged in the works will change from time to time to suit operational requirements.
A working area of approximately 50 metres will be established around the dredger and each barge. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the dredger and barges.
The hours of work will be round-the-clock.
Diving operations will be carried out from time to time during the hours of work.
Vessels engaged in the operations will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.
Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution and keep clear at slow speed, bearing in mind there are divers working in the area.

From 7 January to 6 February 2015, a diving survey will be conducted at Sinki Fairway, off Ayer Merbau Basin.According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.163 of 2014, the work will be conducted between 0700 and 1900 hours daily – including Sundays & Public Holidays – within the working areas bounded by the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum):

The diving boat, with two safety boats in attendance, will have a circular safety working zone of 50 metres radius centered at the diving boat.
Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.
When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to: a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area; b) Maintain a proper lookout; c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution; d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 68 (Sinki Control); and e) Communicate with West Control on VHF Channel 68 for assistance, if required.
