Disaster in the Mediterranean Migrants in Distress at Sea: Time to Act

More than 3000 people died in the Mediterranean in 2014. They were not passengers on cruise ships or airliners, who we would hear more about.

 

 

 

One of our principal concerns at the moment is the pressing need to introduce more effective SAR services to save the lives of the increasing number of migrants in distress at sea.
