unnamedOn Saturday the Cypriot Community of Enfield joined Nick de Bois and David Burrowes to show its solidarity for their re-election this Thursday.

During a walk-about close to the Bank of Cyprus in Southgate with the two well-known Parliamentary friends of Cyprus, Nick and David expressed their thanks for the support the Cypriot community has shown them during their election campaigns.

The two politicians were joined by Andreas Papaevripides, President of POMAK and DISY-UK, Cllr Jason Charalambous, Chairman of the Conservative Friends of Cyprus, Maria Paschali of DIKO-UK, Theo Theodorou, Coordinator of Lobby for Cyprus, the well-known photographer and campaigner Doros Partasides, Cllr Alessandro Georgiou, Michael Takoushis and many others.

Cllr Jason Charalambous said “it is crucial for Cyprus and the Cypriot Community that friends like Nick and David are re-elected as Members of Parliament on May 7. With the resumption of settlement talks on the Cyprus Problem, Cyprus needs strong advocates in the British Parliament who will continue to fight for justice and peace. The re-election of all Parliamentary friends of Cyprus is so very important, and I urge all those eligible to vote to support their local Conservative Party candidate this Thursday.”

Together with Nick de Bois and David Burrowes, the Conservative Friends of Cyprus supports the re-election of all Parliamentary friends of Cyprus including Theresa Villiers, Matthew Offord, Mike Freer and Sir Roger Gale on May 7.
