The Mobile River will have a partial blockage from 0600 until 1500 on Monday (18 May) in the vicinity of Austal Shipyard and BAE shipyard to facilitate the roll out and launching of the JHSV 6.During the operations, there will be limited passing of vessels in that location. There may be times during the operations that vessels can proceed at a slow bell in that vicinity but only after agreement from the on scene Harbor Pilots. The Harbor Pilots will be conducting the movement of the JHSV and they can be reached on channel 13 or 65 VHF/FM to arrange for passing arrangements, if deemed possible.This operation had been scheduled for Friday 15 May, but was rescheduled due to equipment issues.
