image009 (1)LANGLEY, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA – June 4, 2015 – (Marine NewsWire) AdvanTec Global Innovations, parent of Freeman Marine, Diamond Sea Glaze, Pacific Coast Marine and Steelhead Marine has added new personnel to the corporate team in core areas to support the substantial growth its brands have been experiencing since the beginning of this year. Landon Talbot, group controller; Craig Cooper, service and warranty manager; and David Crowe, project manager have joined the team.

“The acquisition of the most popular marine brands by the AdvanTec group has made it possible for clients to source these brands with relative ease, which coupled with the improved economic environment is driving the demand for our solutions. By adding these new corporate roles, we have consolidated and centralized key functional responsibilities that have a direct impact on our ability to service our clients. The resulting collaboration between brands and streamlining of internal processes will also help with response times, ” said Paul Hill, chief executive officer of AdvanTec Global Innovations.

Talbot comes from Creation Technologies where he held various positions in accounting and finance before his promotion as group controller in 2010. As group controller, Talbot participated in formulating strategic initiatives and created a new system for inventory management which reduced the cost and man hours substantially. In his new role at AdvanTec, he will be responsible for all aspects of accounting of marine brands. Talbot likes to play volleyball in his free time, loves camping and tenting at beautiful beaches and above all is passionate about helping people in need.

Cooper has assumed the role of service and warranty manager for faster technical, warranty and in-field support. Cooper operated his own full-service marine company for eight years and facilitated its merger with Bellingham, Wash.-based NW Explorations where he grew the service department’s revenue from $250K to $1.8 million within two and a half years. He enjoys working on craftsman-era houses in his free time and is an ardent fan of the Sounders and the Seahawks.

Crowe joins the marine division after serving as project manager at AdvanTec’s industrial division company Surround Technologies. In his new role, Crowe will manage key projects from conceptual proposals and budgetary quotes to costing analysis and final production. He will act as a liaison between clients and various internal departments including sales, production and parts departments for faster fulfillment of quotes and other special requests. Crowe is an avid cyclist, loves outdoor sports and is fond of sushi.

“Supporting clients after the sale is critical in any business. We want to reassure our clients that our growing size will not hamper our ability to serve them. We are investing in people and processes and working very hard to meet our clients’ expectations, ” added Hill.
