V.Ships Offshore, part of the V.Group, the world’s leading provider of maritime services, has opened a new office in Aberdeen to serve the growing requirements of its global energy clients.

V.Group believes this expansion demonstrates the Group’s commitment to the oil and gas sector and provide greater commercial and operational focus.

Opened last month and located in Westhill, Aberdeenshire, known as the centre of excellence for oil and gas operations and technology in the area, the office is strategically placed to provide an extensive range of ship management and technical services to its offshore clients and the maritime industry worldwide, through coordination with the wider V.Group network.

The new office is managed by Jamie Grant who joined V.Group in 2014 with over 15 years of experience in the offshore sector gained in roles with industry leaders.

The team comprises technical, ship management and crewing experts who provide services to all vessel types including Offshore Support Vessels (OSVs), Platform Supply Vessels (PSVs) and Subsea Pipelay Vessels.
